Non-Stop Adventures

What We Offer

4×4 course, camping, spit-braais, events and adventure camps for schools, churches and more!

At Non-Stop Adventures, we have something for everyone. Escape the city and explore the beautiful countryside in Baynesfield with your 4×4 vehicle and camp with the family. Alternatively, we have three 6 sleeper chalets and a honeymoon cottage for more comfortable accommodation. The bird watching is sublime in our area and there is a river and dam to swim in on hot days. We can host any function, be it 50th birthdays, spit-braai parties, end of year functions or weddings in our beautiful chapel.

We also offer adventure camps for any and all groups, with team-building activities, obstacle courses and even paint-ball on offer. We have plenty of dorm room accomodation for large groups/classes and a large mess hall for meal times.

About Us

Non-Stop Adventures was a passion project for us. After meeting at a school adventure camp at the Wild Coast, we did more camps together and got engaged in Namibia, at Eppupa Falls on a 4×4 excursion, and married in 2005. Together we dreamed of a place where we could host our own adventure camps and 4×4 trips and even functions like spit-braais and beautiful weddings in a chapel.

In 2008, after much searching, we found the ideal property overlooking the hills in Baynesfield just outside of Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu Natal. True to our name, we worked Non-Stop to transform the run-down, derelict property into the amazing venue that you see there today.

In twelve short years, we have created the adventure centre we had envisioned.  And now that Piet has finally retired from full-time teaching we can grow our camps even more, and build other holiday cottages and do more exploring of our beautiful country and the rest of Southern Africa.

Our marriage invitation asked people to join us at the start of our Ultimate Adventure: marriage for life, and we would like to thank all of our friends and families (new and old) who have done just that and who have Non-Stop supported us and helped us create our special Non-Stop Adventure Centre.

To be well known as a friendly, safe, clean, affordable place where there is something to do for all. Dad can 4×4, braai, mom can relax, suntan, read or watch the birds, kids can cycle, swim and tube in the dam, play on the obstacle course and just have fun. Everyone can camp, relax, enjoy and slow down surrounded by beautiful nature.

To be a center that cares. If we do a function we offer the best food and cleanest facilities but all at reasonable costs so you don’t have to be a millionaire to have a beautiful wedding or any other kind of special function.

We believe that people must live and let live. Every one of us is different but none are better than anyone else, everybody deserves to be treated with respect. We believe that we should be grateful, for we have so much, and try to help the community around us. We would like people who visit to always feel free to approach us if they think we can improve or if they have any suggestions.
